While we offer many technology related business services, a few of our more popular services are:

  • Accelerated Technology Business Planning – Often requested by our customers when technology use expectations within the senior executive rank is running high and the Information Technology department (or an area within the department) is expected to deliver a “breakthrough” IT plan.  This planning processes includes a “breakthrough” ideation process and the development of a multi-year IT plan to position a business to increase revenues, decrease costs and provide for competitive advantages.   From start to finish, this action plan typically takes around 6 weeks to develop. 
  • Data Center Consolidations – Often provides a great way to reduce costs and improve 24x7 coverage after a set of acquisitions or a major expansion.  Using our Data Center Consolidation Methodology, provides a straightforward way to consolidate many company data centers into just 2 or 3.  Addresses key business and technology factors such as key legal aspects (e.g., country privacy laws), transitional and ongoing costs, infrastructure, business applications, internal and external network, and disaster recovery requirements. 
  • Technology Outsourcing – While generally not suggested for information technology areas viewed as strategic to the business itself, it has become a reliable means to reduce costs for non-strategic areas by 10-20%, although increasingly quality is the reason more companies have moved to outsource functions.  Our Technology Outsourcing services range from inventorying all the assets and processes to be outsourced, to quantifying potential cost savings, to identifying potential vendors, through the development of a bid document through the selection and implementation of an outsourcing plan.

  • eCommerce Revenue Services – Based on our broad experience in this area and general research, eCommerce has become a distribution channel that generally should not be ignored, often providing a means to generate 10-20% of a companies revenues and much more for select types of companies.  Our services in this area focus on increasing eCommerce channel revenue.  Our services range from eCommerce strategy development, to dramatically increasing online exposure, through reviewing website architectures for capacity and scalability. 
  • Best Practices and Benchmarking – One of the better ways to improve an IT department is to understand and compare operations to what others in the same or different industries are doing.  Alternatively, another method to accomplish this goal in a more economical way is to compare similar IT operations within the same company.  For example, if you were a manufacturing company, you might identify best practices at one plant and then compare how other plants are performing that function.  We offer IT best practice and benchmarking services to help our customers identify potential practices that may dramatically improve their business operations.
