How long has the Celenium Group been in business?
The Celenium Group LLC has been in business since 2000. However, our professionals have all previously worked for highly respected consulting firms and have substantial experience in industry as well.
What sets your firm apart from the other Information Technology Consulting Companies?
We differentiate ourselves in many different ways. First, all our professionals are highly experienced having worked at both major consulting firms and in industry, and having taught information technology courses at major regional universities. Second, the professionals that propose a service to you are the ones that will be delivering that service ( we don’t bait and switch). You’ll also find that our professionals have a strong focus on technology and practices that will decrease you company’s business costs and increase its revenues. Many of our engagements have resulted in a paybacks of over $10 for every dollar invested in our services. Finally, we are dedicated and have been quite successful in making our clients look good in the eyes of both their customers and superiors.
What size is your average client?
The majority of our client companies have revenue exceeding $1 billion. However, we have performed many engagements for company divisions with revenues of $50 million to $500 million. Generally speaking, companies smaller than $50 million do not have the information technology complexity that require our services. That being said, we have occasionally performed work for smaller companies with great success.
Do you charge for an initial consultations?
No, we do not charge for initial consultation meetings. During these meetings we get together with potential customers for one or more sessions to fully understand their technology challenges and, as requested by them, scope out proposals to address these challenges. You’ll find our consultants regularly asking insightful questions that other firms just don’t ask.
Do you perform small consulting projects?
Yes, we do perform small consulting engagements. We have performed a number of two day assignments and have arrangements with some customers to provide “on-call” expertise.
What is the average length of your consulting projects?
The majority of our consulting projects last from 2 weeks to 8 months.
How do you charge for your services?
While we generally bill based on a project basis (e.g., fixed cost for a project), we work to stay flexible to best meet our customers needs. On occasion, this means billing our customers on an hourly or monthly basis. Additionally, for quantifiable projects, we are also open to billing on a contingency basis where, for example, our firm shares a percentage of the actual cost savings.
How much do you charge for your professional services?
While we would prefer not to disclose our effective hourly rates in our FAQ, we can categorically state that our rates are a small fraction of what you would pay a major consulting firm. We know this because our professionals have all worked for these firms prior to starting the Celenium Group. You will find our rates quite reasonable and our quality unsurpassed.
